The mycota (or ‘fungus flora’) of the botanic garden is one of the best known in North Wales and fungus forays have been held there for over thirty years. You don’t need to be an expert to marvel at the sheer diversity of toadstools, brackets, puffballs, jelly fungi and stinkhorns that turn up on these forays.
Join our traditional Sunday morning wild mushroom hunt through Treborth Botanic Garden with identification workshops run by local experts Nigel Brown and Charles Aaron, fungal competitions and refreshments.
The event will be from 10am – 1pm, no need to book, just turn up!
Free parking onsite
