This year we welcome Martin Walsh to give the Len Beer Memorial Lecture.

Martin is an Irish garden designer and consultant who lives and works in Dublin but his twin passions are Photography and finding plants in the wild to study and photograph. He has traveled extensively to achieve this and has a special interest in the Himalaya and especially Bhutan undertaking several long trips to the country to explore its high mountains.

The lecture will cover all manner of plants from this beautiful kingdom, from those trees, shrubs and bulbs growing at lower altitude below the tree line to those alpines growing at the top of the higher passes!
